I had seen it before on a few occasions, but this particular evening, the angle of the sun lit the scene in such a way that it demanded a closer look. The open gate looked inviting: some lucky horse or cow must make this idyllic place home. I set up my easel to try and capture this place, and enjoying a perfect sunset over the landscape".
