"Rock Face", Georgian Bay

“There is no face in these rocks that I know of. I suppose if you look long enough, you may find something, but that’s not why I painted it. I just really liked the textures and strength in this small cliff set in a quiet spot on Georgian Bay. Early light accentuated the forms, and the grasses in the foreground framed the bottom of the scene. A nice place to be on a summer morning.”
