Spring brings new growth and greens seens at no other time of year. An artist's dream. It also usually brings with it some of the worst blackflies and mosquitoes. How fortunate we were to find ourselves in this incredible region, with nary an insect to be found. The unsually late spring kept them at bay until the last day. Timing, I guess, truly is everything.
