"The brook trout is one of our most beautiful gamefish. Often, it is one of the first species that anglers pursue where I live because of it's easy availability. An early morning walk down the edge of a mist stream is one of the truly enjoyable aspects of fishing. However, I have found myself doing this less often these days. Having a boat and the means to go farther afield has taken much of my fishing time. But an eager brookie awaits my equally eager young daughter, and I will be back there this spring".
